This double-ended cutter is one of two designed for the Robert Sorby Chatter Tool, capable of producing a wide variety of decorative patterns on end-grain work. Alternate effects can be achieved by adjusting cutter length, switching between cutter shapes, varying lathe speed, using traverse or stationary cuts, and cutting on, above, or below the center. Ideal for adding intricate, eye-catching texture to bowls and other end-grain projects.
