The RS216 Chatter Tool functions as both a shear scraper and a decorating tool, offering woodturners exceptional versatility for end grain work. Equipped with double-ended spring steel cutters, it is capable of producing a wide variety of decorative patterns. Adjustments in cutter length, cutter shape, lathe speed, and cutting technique (traverse, stationary, above, or below center) provide near-limitless variation in results.
