43 Piece 3" Bowl Sanding Disc Set with Mandrel, Soft Pads and 40 Sorby Hook & Loop Sanding Discs

This bowl sanding set includes one 3-inch mandrel, a soft 1/2-inch interface pad, and 40 hook-and-loop sanding discs (10 each of 120, 180, 240, and 400 grit Sorby discs).

This set is ideal for sanding vessels, bowls, and platters mounted on a lathe. The bowl sander pads significantly reduce the time and effort required for sanding projects and achieve superior results with fewer visible scratch marks.

Both sanding mandrels feature 1/4-inch hex shanks that fit any variable speed drill or flexible shaft chuck tool.

The mandrel comes with a soft pad is ideal for smaller contours. 

Each mandrel and pad have hook-and-loop fasteners compatible with any hook-and-loop sandpaper discs.

These pads are designed for use with your piece mounted on the lathe at slower speeds. Using a variable speed drill or flexible shaft is recommended for optimal control and flexibility during the sanding process.
