Workbench Mortised Flip Up Plane Stop Cast Alloy Alumuinum

A planing stop is an essential workbench accessory for securing boards during planing and other tasks. This versatile tool can be easily mortised into any benchtop and securely fastened with a pair of woodworking screws.

This flush-mounted bench stop features a serrated jaw that adjusts from flush with your bench surface to 7/16" tall, allowing for flexibility in holding various thicknesses of wood. The adjustment is simple—just loosen the adjustment nut to raise or lower the jaw. Made from corrosion-resistant cast alloy aluminum, this stop is durable yet soft enough to avoid damaging your plane irons or chisel blades.
