Benchmark Tools Small Flat Apron Pocket Layout Squares with 16th Graduations

These small pocket squares are perfect for general layout tasks and machine set up. Both inside and outside legs are square and guaranteed to be square to within 0.0015” (one and a half thou) over the length of each blade. The inside corner has a small cut out to allow clearance for debris allowing the square to always seat well on outside corners. These squares are milled from one blank of 0.040” thick stainless steel and then hardened so they resist flexing and will never go out of square.

These squares also excel at measuring as both inside and outside legs are graduated in quick reading 16th inch increments. Graduation marks are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability and will not wear off after prolonged use. Graduations conform to strict international EEC 1 Accuracy Standards, i.e. +/- 0.2mm at 20° C for 1000mm ruler.  The satin chrome finish minimizes scratches and corrosion and increases readability by achieving a brighter, non-glare finish that enhances the contrast between the graduation lines and the surface of the rule. The satin finish allows you to make marks on the legs with a pencil that are easily wiped off.  

These squares come in 2 sizes: 6” x 4” and 4” x 2-1/2” or in a cost saving set. Both sizes will fit in an apron pocket or drawer, so they are always close at hand when you need one.  Each square comes in a vinyl storage pouch. These are well made squares and will provide years of reliable service in any shop, studio, clinic, lab, classroom or home environment.
