The Higonogami is a traditional-style folding pocket knife, originating in Japan in the late 19th century. This knife is a friction folder; it does not have a locking mechanism and is opened by applying pressure to the lever on top of the blade.

This handcrafted knife features a Scandi grind, tapering from the spine to the cutting edge to create a slim blade profile and an exceptionally sharp edge. Its durable construction and dual bevel make it a versatile, general-purpose knife for shop use. The handle is crafted from folded solid brass for a sturdy, distinctive finish.

When not in use, it is recommended to apply a light oil to prevent tarnishing.
