Taytools Wheel Marking Gauge Mortise and Tenon Attachment Set

This Wheel Marking Gauge Double Mortise Attachment Set is designed to work seamlessly with any wheel marking gauge featuring an 8mm (0.310") diameter shaft. It is fully compatible with all Taytools wheel marking gauges. When attached and properly adjusted, this attachment enables precise marking of both sides of a mortise or tennon in a single pass.

Key Features:

• The round cutters slice through wood fibers cleanly, avoiding the
  scratched or torn grain often left by traditional double-pin marking
  gauges. They produce crisp, clear lines both with and against the grain. 
• Made from hardened tool steel, the cutters are long-lasting and can
  be easily sharpened by rubbing the bevel side on any sharpening medium.
  To mark mortises, install the cutters with their bevels facing
  outward and secure them with the included set screws. To mark tenons,
  reverse the cutters so the bevels face inward. 
• The distance between cutters can be set as close as 3/8" and
  adjusted easily using the included hex wrench. Fine-tune the spacing
  with a ruler or the chisel intended for chopping the mortise to ensure
  an exact fit.
• The included spacer washer can be installed on the rod betweeen the cutters and the gauge head and helps keep the marking gauge rod parallel to the workpiece, ensuring consistent depth for both marks. This feature becomes particularly useful when the beam is extended farther from the gauge head.
