This 14-ounce aluminum mallet with a non-marring black nylon head is prefect for light to medium duty carving and leatherwork. The anodized ergonomic handle fits the hand nicely and the weight is just right for precise work. This mallet is designed when you need more finess than power. It can used by grasping the handle or with the head cradled in the palm of your hand which allows much more precise control of the force of your blows. The head is threaded to the handle and can be removed if needed. The head is 2" in diameter and 2-1/4" long. The handle is 1-1/8" diameter and 4-1/2" long handle. Overall length is 7-1/4". Overall weight is 14 ounces.
