Details

Always have an extra sharp blade on hand with this replacement plane blade for your Taytools bench planes.

Our premium blades are made from high carbon tool steel hardened to Rockwell 60-62. They are easy to sharpen to a mirror finish and take a keen edge. The primary bevel is ground to 25 degrees, but we recommend honing a secondary bevel of 5° to 10° to greatly increase performance.

We've also found these blades to work for Woodriver planes, as well as some non-vintage Stanley and Record planes. Please carefully review specifications to ensure a proper fit for your plane.

Not compatible with Taytools Bedrock planes.

Nice blade at a good price

I purchased this blade as an upgrade to the blade that came in a Groz plane. This one was thicker and it was easy to hone, it has been performing well with a firm feel.

Yes!

What a difference these blades make to my trusty old Stanley planes! Night and day. I DID ( as expected) need to file down the mouth on my Bedrock 605 but that was easy. Great blades.
