This cabinetmaker's vise is the perfect addition to any new or existing workbench and can be used to secure parts for a wide range of woodworking tasks, including planing, routing, sanding, drilling, sawing, assembly, and more.

This heavy-duty vise features a 7” x 3” x 1-3/4” cast iron base plate, a 7” x 1-3/4” moveable jaw, precision-machined steel guide rods (0.550” diameter) and an Acme main lead screw (0.860” diameter)  for rigid and secure clamping and long-term durability. The maximum opening is 8-1/2” (less the thickness of your wooden jaw). The vise is easy to install on a wide variety of new or existing workbenches via the four 5/16” holes in the base. A custom front jaw can be made to whatever length you desire with the height being level with the top of your bench. Comes with a 12-1/2” long x 1” diameter beech wood handle.

This vise is straightforward to install and requires an unobstructed 11” x 7-1/2” mounting area on the underside of the worktop. Click HERE, for easy to follow installation instructions.

Mounting hardware required: 4 each 5/16" lag bolts to secure to the underside of the workbench and 2 each 1/4" lag bolts to secure your custom wood jaw to the moveable front jaw.

Good vise, but warped base would not sit flat.
Overall a decent vise, but be prepared to deal with poor finish quality. The base of the vise I had purchased was warped, about 1/8 inch over the 7 inch width. It would not sit flat on the underside of my bench. After about an hour of grinding and filing, I got it flat enough so it would'nt rock from corner to corner. Its a shame, since an extra few cents by the manufacturer to mill a flat base would have solved this. I will think twice about ordering from this company again.
