Details

This vise is perfect for light-duty woodworking tasks and is ideal for home, shop, and contractor use. It mounts quickly and securely to the underside of any worktop up to 2-3/16" thick using four 1/4" mounting holes. For thinner worktops, shims will be required.

The jaws are slightly canted at the top to provide a secure grip on your workpiece. Pre-drilled holes in the jaws allow the addition of wood jaw liners to protect delicate workpieces. Constructed from quality cast iron with a durable baked-on finish, the top and side surfaces of the jaws are ground flat and square for precise alignment. A 6 TPI Acme thread trapezoidal screw opens and closes the jaws quickly, while providing a strong, self-locking hold. Dual guide bars minimize racking for smooth, even clamping pressure.
