The Robert Sorby Side and Face End Cutter is engineered for precise cleanup of rim faces or interior surfaces of boxes. Its distinctive dog-leg profile allows easy access to awkward or recessed areas, enabling controlled finishing cuts in challenging locations.

Sharpening & Maintenance:

To maintain optimal performance and prolong the life of your cutter, lightly and regularly sharpen the top face using a diamond file or honing stone. Sharpening can be done while the cutter is mounted on the tool, or you can use the 472 cutter holder to reshape the profile with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system or a grinding wheel.
