Robert Sorby Full Round Cutter Titanium Nitride Tin Coated HSS

The Full Round Cutter is a versatile circular cutter designed for general-purpose and large-scale hollow form turning. Like all full-round cutters, it can be rotated multiple times to reveal a fresh, sharp edge before sharpening is required. A titanium nitride (TiN) coating enhances wear resistance, extending edge retention and overall cutter longevity. This makes it a reliable all-rounder for efficient, long-lasting performance in demanding turning applications.

The perfect accompaniment for the Hollowmaster – the tool it was designed for – and for delivering those finishing cuts on large hollow forms.

Sharpening:
Use a diamond file or honing stone flat across the top face. To gain best results and increase the longevity of the cutter this simple procedure should be done little and often.
