Details

These gouges having the wings tips ground back which reduces the danger of them catching when working in confined areas They are ideal for fine detailing on spindle work. Made from high speed steel and then properly hardened and tempered. It will keep a sharpened edge about six times longer than carbon steel and resist "blued" softening from overheating during grinding or from heavy turning. It comes with hard White Ash handle and brass ferrule.
