The Robert Sorby Side End Swivel Tip is engineered to produce precise parallel sides on boxes and vases. Its flexible profile also enables the creation of flat-bottomed surfaces and crisp corners. The titanium nitride (TiN) coating provides enhanced wear resistance, extending the cutter’s service life. A high-speed steel version is also available.

Sharpening & Maintenance:

Maintain optimal cutting performance by lightly and regularly sharpening around the cutter’s profile using a diamond file or honing stone. For profile reshaping, the 472 cutter holder can be used with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system or on a suitable grinding wheel.
