The Robert Sorby Pointed End Cutter is engineered for efficient material removal, making it ideal for roughing down, particularly on spindle work. The angled flanks facilitate rapid stock removal, while the pointed tip allows for fine detailing and precision work in tighter areas.

Sharpening & Maintenance:

To maintain optimal performance and prolong the life of your cutter, lightly and regularly sharpen the top face using a diamond file or honing stone. Sharpening can be done while the cutter is mounted on the tool, or you can use the 472 cutter holder to reshape the profile with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system or a grinding wheel.
