We now carry Narex bench chisels available in imperial sizes!

These chisels are manufactured by Narex of the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section. Bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Handles are European Beech with solid brass ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs.

    good quality good price
    I had a mismatched collection of hand me down chisels. It's nice to now have several that are in good shape to begin with! They sharpened nicely. The sides of the blades are a little sharp so I have to watch where I put my fingers when choking up for paring but I really can't find fault with any aspect of the product.
