A burnisher is an indispensable tool used to turn the thin burr on cabinet scrapers that makes them so indispensable. Make a cabinet scraper burnisher to your own unique design using this burnisher kit containing a 3/8" hardened rod and brass ferrule. Kit comes with a highly polished hardened high carbon steel rod and a solid brass ferrule. Polished high carbon steel rod is 3/8" diameter and 7-1/2" long hardened to Rockwell 62-64. Solid brass ferrule is 5/8" long with ID of 0.670" and OD of 0.750". Kit made in Czech Republic by Narex Tools.

Sturdy and well machined burnisher

Well made and of the right hardness. Crafted a walnut handle on the lathe. Have burnished several scrapers with it, only needing about four strokes per side, This will last several lifetimes with care to prevent rusting.
