For those who prefer to use wooden pencils in the shop, VERTEX puts a sharp, clean point on any standard wooden pencil — without the breakage, splitting, or uneven sharpening commonly associated with cheaper manual sharpeners.

Designed for both graphite and colored pencils, the double-hole configuration accommodates a wide range of diameters. The smaller hole produces a long point on pencils up to 8 mm in diameter, while the larger hole forms a long point on pencils up to 11 mm in diameter — ideal for thicker artist or carpenter-style pencils. The accurately machined brass body ensures smooth and controlled sharpening with consistent results. Its compact size makes it easy to carry in a pocket, apron, or tool pouch.

Each sharpener comes equipped with a surgical-sharp, precision-ground carbon steel blade that is replaceable and securely screwed to the blade bed.
