This titanium birdcage fret saw is the most rigid fret saw on the market today. Its spine is a welded titanium beam that is triangular in cross section. This frame allows the blade to be tensioned so tight that they” ping” with notes never heard before. This saw can cut turns that are tighter than ever before. The set of knurled blade clamps knobs securely grip the blade and prevent slippage. Blade tension is easily adjusted with a large knurled knob and then a unique cam lever allows setting and releasing blade tension instantly with the flip of a lever. The blade rotates 45 degrees in either direction via spring-loaded blade clamps. Opening jaw is 4-5/8", depth of cut is 5" and overall length is 13". Weigh in at 7.7 ounces.
