Kakuri Kanna 42mm Mini Hand Plane - Eco Oak Body

This Kanna wood plane is a traditional Japanese hand plane designed for smoothing surfaces, cutting chamfers, and performing fine detail work. Unlike Western planes that are pushed, Japanese planes are pulled toward the user, offering greater control, improved tactile feedback, and cleaner, more consistent cuts.

The body is crafted from hard-wearing Japanese oak, providing stability and a smooth planing action. The plane is fitted with a razor-sharp blade made from Japanese high-carbon steel, capable of producing an exceptionally smooth finish straight out of the box. Its traditional two-blade construction with an integrated chipbreaker helps minimize tear-out for cleaner cuts, even on difficult grain.
