Henry Taylor Hamlet M2 HSS Spindle Gouges (1/4" - 3/4")

These Henry Taylor Hamlet spindle gouges are used for detailed shaping between centers on parallel grain, particularly for concave curves.  These spindle gouges can be used to create beads, coves and other profiles on vases, goblets, candle sticks and more shaped work.

The blades are made from the extremely stable M2 high-speed steel, known for its exceptional edge-holding ability. The ergonomic handles, made from dark-stained European beech, are paired with solid brass ferrules.
