These are excellent drill bits for drilling accurate holes in wood and wood composites. They are perfect for use in soft, hard, exotic, veneered and laminated wood as well as MDF and even acrylic glass. The chrome vanadium steel construction stays sharper longer. Dual optimized spurs insure fast and easy cutting of the wood fibers before the hole is drilled. Beveled edge leads to a perfect drilling of the diameter without any deviation. The ground center point prevents the drill bit from walking across the material surface. Superior double-flue design improves chip extraction. Overall lengths range from 2-1/2" to 6". Larger bits have reduced shanks to fit 3/8" drill chucks. Made in Austria.

    Good quality brad point bits, and a good value at the sale price. As many others have noted the case was destroyed during shipping.
    This is a good brand of drill bits and they perform well. They are sharp and accurate. I bought these on sale and at the sale price I think they were a great value. As many others have noted the case is very insubstantial brittle plastic, and the outer case was destroyed during shipping. Fortunately the yellow drill index part of the case survived, so at least the bits can stay organized.If not for the case problem I would give this set a five star rating. Either Fisch needs to come up with a more durable case, or Taylor Toolworks needs to figure out how to ship these bits without destroying the case. I am not unhappy with my purchase, but it is a bit of a disappointment that I don't have a suitable storage solution for a relatively expensive set of bits.

    Superior Cutting PLUS more Variety
    What a difference these bits make. I use a hand-held cordless drill. After trying a small set of brad point bits (from a big box store) I realized how much better they are than traditional twist bits. But these Fisch bits are AWESOME. They cut so much cleaner than my current set of brad points. I'm never going back to mediocre again.

    Great product, packaging no good
    The drills bits are extremely sharp, providing a very clean hole. The manufacturers case is garbage, it was shattered and in multiple pieces and the drill bits were all loose when I received it. The vendors packaging provided no shipping protection either, it was just paper wrapped around the manufacturers package. Buy these when they are on sale, the money you save can be used to buy a better storage case.

    Tools are great, packaging not so much
    So I now have great bits and no useful container in which to store them.
