This Light Module integrated into the extraction hood delivers shadow-free 360° illumination directly at the cut, with two brightness levels for optimal visibility. Because the light sits close to the work surface and router bit, it minimizes shadows and helps reduce errors caused by obstructed views. At the same time, dust extraction at the routing area keeps the workspace clean and the cut clearly visible for greater precision and better results. The light module is compatible with all Festool OF 1400 routers—past and present—and mounts to the router base without tools, so setup is fast and simple. The integrated rechargeable battery powers up to 6 hours of runtime and charges easily via USB-C®, allowing the light to operate independently of the router.
