These High Speed Steel brad point bits are the best brad point bits we offer. They drill accurate holes in wood and wood composites and are perfect for use in soft, hard, exotic, veneered, and laminated wood, as well as MDF and even acrylic glass. In addition to solid wood, the HSS-G wood twist drills are also well-suited for acrylic/plexiglass, Corian, polycarbonate, PVC, and more.

High-speed steel construction stays sharper longer, even under high heat.
A slim center point ensures precise starts and prevents the bit from "walking," guiding it straight and cleanly through the material.
Dual outside scoring cutters, CNC ground for accuracy, score the outer edge of the hole for exceptionally clean and precise results. These are included on bits 2 mm and larger.
Precision CNC-ground main cutting edges remove the bulk of the material efficiently, allowing for fast feed rates and extended tool life.
Fully CNC-ground deep double spiral flutes ensure excellent chip removal, precise concentricity, and reduced friction and heat build-up.

These bits are available in a limited range of sizes from 1/8" to 1/2". Overall lengths range from 2-1/2" to 6". Larger bits do not have reduced shanks. Sets are also available. Made in Germany.
