This is the perfect starter set of Easy Wood Tools Easy Start tools. These Easy Start tools are smaller and more economical versions of the larger Easy Wood Tools, and are perfect for smaller projects such as pens, knobs, small bowls and goblets. These tools use the same high quality, super sharp carbide cutters as their larger cousins. These tools address fatigue, safety, and efficiency like no other lathe tool on the market. Designed to be kept flat on the tool rest, level to the floor and pushed straight into your work, these tools will effortlessly hog away massive amounts of wood. No intimidating cutting angles to learn and remember-cuts left, right and straight in without changing approach angle. This simple approach to turning allows you to learn and master woodturning in no time. All 3 tools have super hard Maple handles that are 9" long. Solid CNC machined black oxide steel tool bars are 3-1/2” long and 3/8” square. Overall length of these tools is 12-1/2". The Rougher accepts 2 different proprietary carbide cutters: Ci2-R2 (2" radius) and Ci2-SQ (no radius), and comes loaded with a Ci2-SQ cutter. The Finisher comes loaded with a round Ci3 carbide cutter. Detailer comes loaded with a diamond Ci4 cutter. The proprietary carbide cutters are specially designed with the optimal grind, geometry and grade of carbide to excel at woodturning. The extra cutters included in the set are the Ci2-R2 (2 inch radius), Ci2-SQ (no radius), Ci3 (round) and Ci4 (diamond). These carbide cutters have multiple sharp sides and are easily rotated to expose new sharp edges. You will never need to stop turning and sharpen your tools again!
