Details

These hand screw clamp kits are made in the USA by Dubuque Clamp Works, the last remaining clamp manufacturer in the US. Use these kits to make your own wooden hand screw clamps using these premium hardware kits. All you need to supply is your wood of choice for the jaws. Sizes are listed by overall length of the jaws. These kits come in 4 sizes: 8", 10", 12" and 14".

Each kit contains the following components;
2 threaded rods with right-hand threads on one end and left-hand threads on the other. One rod is longer than the other
4 pivot nuts, 2 with right-hand threads and 2 with left-hand threads
2 birch wood handles with chrome ferrules
2 handle anchor pins
Complete instruction manual

Dubuque Wooden Hand Screw Clamp Kits with Rods, Pivot Nuts and Handles

I really like that I can make my own wooden hand screw clamps from a kit and that I can modernize the clamp by adding extra holes and routed grooves. However, it would be nice if there was a diagram/plan for these additional modifications. I sent a plan request to customer service but have not received a reply. Please advise.
