Sacrificial Strip
The sacrificial strip is an 8 mm (0.31") MDF insert designed specifically for the Ultra MFT Workstation. Set flush into the face of the MFT top, it provides a clean, reliable cutting surface when using a track saw. This replaceable strip protects the main benchtop from damage, allowing you to cut confidently without compromising accuracy or finish.
Over time, repeated cuts will naturally wear the strip. When it becomes worn, simply replace it to restore your workstation to its original crisp, precise cutting surface. This is an essential consumable for maintaining long-term MFT performance.

If you are sealing or varnishing the top, please be aware that this may cause inaccuracies in the holes due to the thickness of the coating applied. To overcome this, a BD reamer BD0565 would resolve the hole size issue.
