MFT Hinge System with Side Table Plates (For Benchdog ULTRA Workstations Festool MFT3, & Metabo)
The MFT Hinge System with Table Plates is an accessory from Benchdog Tools designed to mount directly to the sides of multifunction tables such as their ULTRA MFT Workstations, the Festool MFT/3, and compatible Metabo-style tables. It provides a flip-up, rock-solid, repeatable, and accurate 90° reference for track-saw cutting.
This system represents the next evolution of the Benchdog Hinge concept. Instead of mounting the hinges into dog holes in the tabletop, the Table Plate version mounts to the table edge using precision-machined aluminum table plates. The result is the same proven accuracy and functionality of the MFT Hinges with Dog Plates—but with faster setup, cleaner installation, and more usable work surface.
By eliminating the need for table-top, dog-hole mounting, the Table Plate system increases the working distance between fence components by 4-3/4″, giving you greater cutting capacity without increasing the tabletop size.
This system is simple and easy to set up on the jobsite, in the workshop, or in a home hobby setup.
To ensure the best accuracy, the hinge system includes a pin slot and alignment pin, along with rail bolts specific to your brand of track saw.
When selecting a track that works with your MFT table, you will need a track the width of your table plus a minimum of 9.4″ (240 mm) extra length.
