Create your own wooden hand screw clamps with these easy-to-use hardware kits. Simply supply your preferred wood for the jaws; each kit includes all the necessary hardware. Step-by-step instructions are provided for making standard clamps, or you can customize them to suit your unique needs

Sizes are listed by overall length of the jaws. These kits come in 4 sizes: 6", 8", 10" and 12".

Each kit contains the following components:     
  • 2 threaded rods with right-hand threads on one end and left-hand threads on the other. One rod is longer than the other. Threads are double lead screw for 2x faster opening/closing.
  • 4 pivot nuts, 2 with right-hand threads and 2 with left-hand threads
  • 2 birch wood handles with chrome ferrules
  • 2 handle anchor pins

    8 \" Clamp Kits
    Construction was outlined in the assembly drawings and was fairly simple. I did have to purchase two drill bits that I did not own, the #33 for the handle pins and the 19/32

    Need specific tools to build
    Quality of kit is good. Instructions to build the jaws (12 inch size) however calls for a 21/32 inch Brad point drill bit. Not a common size and only one I could find online is north of $50. Found a standard twist bit for $17 but you need a drill press or guide to keep it from wandering and get an accurate hole. I have a good quality drill guide that might work but it doesn't have the required 1/2 inch chuck. I'm struggling with figuring out how to build
