This Heavy-Duty Quick-Release Pivot Jaw Woodworking Vise is built for professional craftsmen, serious woodworkers, and dedicated DIYers who demand heavy-duty construction, smooth operation, and dependable clamping. Designed to handle everything from fine joinery to large-scale projects, it delivers rock-solid performance in any workshop.
The pivoting front jaw, which tilt up to 12°, adjusts instantly to grip tapered or irregular workpieces securely. The pivot jaw can be removed or raised to act as a wide bench dog. The vise includes 5/8"-thick padded wooden jaws to protect delicate workpieces while maintaining a firm grip.
The quick-release mechanism allows you to reposition the jaws in seconds without endless cranking: simply turn the handle counterclockwise ½ turn to disengage, make rapid adjustments, and then turn clockwise to re-engage the screw. A 4 TPI Acme-threaded main screw provides a smooth-turning, powerful, self-locking hold.
A massive 2-1/2" x 2" central guide bar made from 3/16” thick steel virtually eliminates racking and ensures the jaws remain parallel under pressure.
The oversized 7" wide x 4" tall jaws are built to handle almost any task. With the pivoting jaw and pads installed, the vise opens to 7-1/2"; with them removed, it provides a full 10" capacity.
For installation, the vise can be securely bolted to any workbench up to 3-1/4" thick using the 3/8" bolt holes (shims may be required for thinner benches).
This is a massive vise, weighing in at 34 lbs., built to last and to perform.
