The Sjobergs Elite cabinetmakers' workbenches are strong, sturdy, and handsomely crafted, representing the highest quality available in a professional workbench. These workbenches are both heavier and smarter than most others on the market, designed and built by professionals for professionals. They are engineered to completely eliminate vibration, rocking, or racking, making them the ultimate workstation for the most demanding applications.
The tops are an impressive 3-3/8” thick with 4-5/16” wide skirts. The two vises, each 29” wide with a 5-3/4” opening capacity, glide along adjustable guide rails to prevent misalignment. The front vise can be moved to the other side of the bench, and the top e rotated 180 degrees to accommodate left-handed users. Available in lengths of 1500 (59") and 2000 (79"), with an optional 19" clamping platform. Each model can also be equipped with an optional storage cabinet (SM04).
Can be equipped with an optional extension Clamping Platform (SJO-33467) to create nearly 8 feet of work surface. The worktop is constructed using full-length laminations of knot-free European beech, without unsightly splices, and the preassembled trestle frames are also solid beech. Treated with top-quality oil, these benches are built to last for generations.
A double row of 1” round bench dog holes extends from each vise, and each bench comes with a set of four solid steel bench dogs.
If you're taller than average, Elite Height Adjustment Blocks (SJO-33465) raise the work surface by 3-1/2" to minimize stooping and bending to save your back. Once installed, they pivot on hinges, allowing the bench height to be easily increased. To adjust, simply lift the end of the bench, swing the height block under the trestle feet, and secure it with the locking bolt.

Accessory KitThis Sjobergs accessory kit includes the Elite Holdfast, Universal Anvil, and a pair of PSA cork rubber jaw protectors. The Elite Holdfast fits 1" dog holes in the benchtop for horizontal clamping and in the trestle legs for vertical clamping of larger workpieces on edge. Its shaft swivels 360° and moves vertically to accommodate different stock thicknesses. Also included is the Sjobergs Universal Anvil, which fits into the dog holes along the bench edge, perfect for metalworking or protecting the workbench top during heavy pounding. The cork rubber PSA jaw protectors safeguard both the vise jaws and delicate workpieces from damage.
