Sandflex blocks eliminate the need to use harsh and messy chemicals to remove stains or rust from metal surfaces. Sandflex blocks work like big erasers. Just rub the Sandflex block on any metal surface and rust and stains will disappear. Sandflex blocks are made from carbide grit imbedded throughout a semi-flexible rubber compound. Since carbide grit is distributed evenly throughout the entire block, as the block wears, new and sharp abrasive material is continuously exposed. Sandflex blocks can be used wet or dry. Blocks measures 3" x 2" x 3/4". Blocks come in coarse, medium, or fine. Also available in a 3 piece set.

Some uses include:
  • Cleaning rust from tools-table saw, jointer, or bandsaw tables, cleaning carving tools, chisels, etc.
  • Removing rust from outdoor equipment
  • Cleaning and polishing stainless steel sinks, pots and pans
  • Cleaning electrical contacts
  • Removing mineral deposits from ceramic tile and toilets

    Sentimental square restored
    Received fine and medium as promotional items. Tucked away and forgot about them until I decided to true up my trusty rusty 40 year old framing square. Used medium and fine, both dry and wet. My square is now true and clean. Wish I could leave before/after photos.

    Handy
    I got these and used them to polish a large knife blade. The knife is probably 50 years ago and tarnished. These blocks did a good job restoring the blade.

    Great for shop maintenance
    I received these handy sanding blocks as a promo gift with my last order. The fine grit works exceptionally well for removing stains and rust on cast iron tabletops and my lathe bed. I plan on using the course grit to renew a few garden tools. Thanks Taylor Toolworks for turning me on to this excellent product!

    Sandflex blocks
    These work very well removing rust from cast iron in my shop. Even with T9 or paste wax in a area without temperature and humidity control I get occasional rust from condensation. These abrasive blocks do a fine job removing that rust
