This medium duty workbench vise is made by Pony Jorgensen who has been making clamps and vises since 1903. This vise is perfect for the DIY, hobbyist, or professional woodworker. It is designed to be mounted to the edge and underside of a workbench via countersunk holes in the fixed jaw and tabs underneath that can accept 3/8” lag bolts. The top of the jaws can be mounted flush with the benchtop or inset by mortising away part of the bench. Wood jaw faces can be attached to both faces using the tapped and countersunk screw holes.

Jaw size is 7” wide by 3” deep. Maximum jaw opening is 9” (without wood jaws). The front jaw has a solid steel bench dog that can be raised 1” when needed and then lowered when not in use to get completely out of the way.  The jaw opens smoothly via a .600” diameter Acme threaded spindle and 2 each 5/8” hardened guide rods. The T Bar handle is plated steel and 7” long and .460” in diameter. All castings are grey cast steel with a baked-on orange finish.

This is a substantial vice and weighs in at 12 pounds.
