    Best of Microjig Clamps
    In my opinion, this clamp is the best of all Microjig clamps, from the traditional screw type to the ratchet type. It takes after the traditional trigger clamp design, with the dovetail arm for use in Microjig Matchfit system. The operation is similar to that of the triigger clamp. It takes less space to operate because the clamping mechanism is straight up and down. Also releasing it is quicker by just pressing the release level. In term of clamping force, I think that it is not as good as the screw type, but honestly, if you need much more clamp force, the Matchfit groove won't be able to hold the material without damaging the groove. This clamp is more versatile in that the clamping head can be changed to a different holder allowing the clamp to be converted to a bench top vise. See Taylor Toolworks Matchfit vise. In terms of cost, this clamp is too expensive comparing to other Matchfit clamps. Microjig should just price all of their clamps the same price because they are all accomplished the exact same thing, just different mechanism to which I think offer little value added to the function of the clamp.

    Makes work easier
    These are game changers for me. Love making and using dovetail jigs and the clamps make them even more versatile. Used these and the pads to build a dovetail vice like the one shown on Taylor's ads. Works perfectly. Get some of these, especially if you're already using the dovetail system

    These new clamps make the system a lot more efficient and easier to use.
