Japanese Style Mini Size High Carbon Steel Awl

This small mini awl can be easily cupped in the hand allowing more control for precise work. It is perfect for marking and making starting holes for smaller screws when making boxes or other small projects. It can also be used to mark a line against a rule or pierce small holes in thinner material. Overall length is 3-3/4" and is 0.550" in diameter. The blade is made from hardened high carbon tool steel and ground to a very fine point. This awl is a pleasure to hold and use.
