Fisch Jennings Pattern Auger Bits
Fisch Jennings Auger Bits are modeled after the classic Russell Jennings double-twist design and are intended for use with a hand brace. They offer fast chip ejection, clean boring action, and a precise feed rate—making them a favorite among furniture makers, joiners, and traditional woodworkers.
Forged from high-quality tool steel, each bit is carefully ground to exacting standards. The two precision-cut spurs slice wood fibers cleanly at the edge of the hole, while the fine-pitch lead screw steadily pulls the bit through the material—ideal for both soft and dense hardwoods. These bits drill clean, tear-out-free holes and are especially effective in applications like starting mortises, through-holes, and complex joinery.
Key Features:
-
Double-Twist Flute Design: Rapid chip removal for efficient boring
-
Sharp Twin Spurs: Clean scoring for crisp entry, straight holes and minimal tear-out

Whether you’re drilling deep holes, adding dog holes to a workbench, or boring at odd angles in irregular stock, Jennings Pattern bits provide superior control and results that power drills often can’t match.
