This is the very first Dado ever deemed UNI EN847 COMPLIANT.

This means that while the Dado is rotating, the assembled elements will never come into contact with each other! This is possible thanks to unique blade body design and 'never before seen 'special "lock spacers".

For flat bottom grooves & virtually splinter-free cuts in solid wood, laminates & melamine, veneer plywood.

ORANGE SHIELD COATING protects from heat, gumming and corrosion.
Includes shims (plastic & magnetic) and plastic "lock spacers" set for micro-thin adjustability.

    First impressions
    Only used the blade a couple of times but the cut quality is excellent. What I don't care for is the plastic shims. Also the suggested blade/shim combos don't seem to achieve the advertised width so it's kind of trial and error for me. Overall happy with blade and may be shopping for a metal shim set soon. Jury still out on that.

    Great Product
    I've used a few dado blades before on table saws. Quite frankly they've always scared me, they've seemed unbalanced and dangerous. Well, I've decided to try again with a new project and I was looking at Dado's again and landed on the CMT Dado Locked Pro set. After studying it, I decided to give one a try. Follow the chart on the blades and spacers you need to assemble the width you want, make sure all the blades are locked together as designed and you're good to go. No more nervousness when using this blade set.

    Best Dado Stack
    I have been using a Harbor Freight dado stack for several years. It does ok, but does not leave a clean bottom. It is hard to install and get it correct. I have used the CMT 8" locked dado pro set a couple times now and have been very pleased with the performance. They are very easy to figure out how to put together and install. The chart supplied with it is very accurate. I was really impressed with how flat the bottom of the cut was. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone looking to buy a quality dado set.
