Brad point bits are the best choice for drilling in softwoods, hardwoods, plywood, fiberboard, and chipboard. The precision-milled center point is long and sharp, ensuring accurate hole placement with minimal wandering. For even greater accuracy, we recommend using an awl to mark a divot at your start point.

The extended center point also allows for drilling angled holes using a cordless drill up to 40° off plumb, a capability most other brad point bits lack. The outside spurs define and drill the hole’s perimeter cleanly, while the double flutes efficiently remove waste material.

Crafted from C70 high-carbon steel, these bits offer excellent hardness, wear resistance, and strength—making them the perfect choice for brad point drills. The set comes in a telescoping storage tube to keep the bits protected.

The set contains the following sizes: 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/34”. 5/16”. 3/8”, 7/16: and 1/2”  Lengths range from 2-1/2” to 5-3/4”.7/16” and 1/2” bits have reduced shanks.
