Taytools 5mm Self Centering Hinge Hardware Drill Bit

Self-centering drill bits greatly simplify the task of drilling centered pilot holes when installing hinges and other hardware. Simply place the hinge or hardware exactly where you want it, insert the bit guide barrel in the countersink on the hardware and drill. The beveled end of the guide barrel perfectly centers the drill bit in the center of each hinge hole. The guide barrel is spring loaded and spins freely to reduce friction. Bit diameter is 5mm. Drill depth is adjustable via hex set screw (5/64" hex wrench not included). Bits come with quick change 1/4" shanks that fit all quick change chucks. High speed steel drill bits can be replaced. Maximum drilling is 5/8".
