3M™ Hookit™ (Hook and Loop) Clean Sanding Random Orbital Disc Pad Hook Protector Pad
With continued use, the hook attachment on all random orbital sanders will eventually wear out and lose its grip. Replacing an entire sander pad assembly can be costly and time consuming. Rather than buy and replace an entire backer pad, use one of these cost-effective 3M protector pads instead. Simply stick a protector pad to the hook and loop pad on your sander and allow all the wear and tear to be on the protector pad instead of your sander. The protector pad also provides additional cushioning allowing the sander to conform to slight imperfections in the wood surface producing a better finish. When the protector pad wears out, simply replace. These pads are designed to work on all brands and models of random orbital sanders that accept hook and loop discs. The universal multi-hole dust collection configuration with accommodate the vacuum hole pattern on any brand or make of random orbital sander. Pads come in both 5” and 6” sizes.
