This simple and easy-to-use device is designed to prevent racking of your bench vise jaws when work is clamped in only one side of the vise. Simply add the 0.10" shims until they are the approximate thickness of your workpiece and install into the vise opposite to your work. It will keep your vise jaws parallel as the jaws are tightened and increase the gripping ability of the jaws and prevent any damage to the vise mechanism. Made from durable high-density polyethylene which is resistance to stains and glue.

Specifications:

Includes 30 shims, 0.10" thick, for a total racking width of 3"
Shims are 3" x 1-3/8" overall with usable racking length of 2-1/8"
