These Pinie DIY Starter workbenches are an ideal entry-level choice for home workshops or compact spaces, offering a solid surface for lighter tasks and general DIY use.

These DIY Workbenches offer an economical solution for those who want to customize their workbench to their own preferences. The DIY beech benchtops and bases are left untreated—unsanded and unoiled—but otherwise share the same specifications as the fully finished Starter models.

STARTER benches are made from stable, high-quality European beech. The 20mm (0.79") thick beech work surface features a 70mm (2.75") skirt/apron that adds rigidity to the thinner-style worktop, resulting in a total top thickness of 90mm (3.54").

Each bench comes with either one or a pair of BENCH10 vises featuring 14" wide jaws and a 4" opening capacity. Standard 3/4" (19mm) dog holes are drilled in the benchtop to provide numerous clamping possibilities. A double row of dog holes extends from each vise location, and each bench includes four solid steel bench dogs. All benches come with plenty of linseed oil to finish each bench.

Model 1100 includes: 1 light-weight french type vise
Models 1200, 1500, 1700 include: 2 light-weight french type vises.

The 1100 model allows for the vise to be mounted on the end. The 1200 model allows for a vise to be mounted on the end and on the left side of the front edge for right-handed use. The 1500 and 1700 models offer greater flexibility, supporting a vise on either end and allowing vises to be the right or left side of the front edge or both vises mounted along the front
