Unlike traditional clamps that use a single threaded screw, Piher’s design employs dual, oppositely threaded screws housed in a metal cylinder. This mechanism increases clamping force by approximately 40% and jaw movement speed by 50%, while allowing the clamp pad to advance without rotation, eliminating torsional stress.
