PEC Tools Premium Gold 12" 4R Combination Square

Manufactured in the USA by Products Engineering Corporation (PEC Tools), a highly respected producer of precision measuring tools, it meets the tolerances specified in FEDERAL SPECIFICATION NO. GGG-S-656E (dated January 29, 1996), ensuring a squareness accuracy of ±0.004" over the 12" blade length.

The blade is made of hardened and tempered steel with a titanium nitride coating, providing excellent scratch resistance and visual contrast. It features dual-sided 4R graduations: 1/8ths and 1/16ths on one side, and 1/32nds and 1/64ths on the other. Both edges are ground flat and straight, with deep photo-etched markings that are black-filled for clear readability.

The head is cast, hardened, machined and lapped, incorporating an integrated spirit level and a hardened scribe. It is finished with a baked-on black wrinkle coating for corrosion resistance and durability.

The square is housed in a blow-molded plastic case for storage and transport.
