Jessem has enhanced their measuring tools with the introduction of brand-new Precision Rulers featuring their patented laser-engraved Flex Grip.

Available in Imperial measurements and lengths of 6”, 12”, 18”, or 24”, these Precision Rulers are crafted from 301 stainless steel and hardened for overall durability. Graduations are on both sides of each rule, with 1/16" increments on one edge and 1/32" increments on the other. The 1/16" and 1/32" graduation marks read left to right on one side of the rule and right to left on the other. Each marking is etched and engraved using a laser system to ensure they withstand the wear and tear of rugged everyday use. Unlike most rulers, these markings will never fade!

Each laser-engraved Flex Tab is designed to grip virtually any surface softer than the steel itself, preventing slipping when marking or scribing on various materials such as wood, metal, paper, and more.

These rulers are perfect for woodworking, drafting, metalworking, art, design, and more. With a range of sizes, you’ll always have the perfect ruler for every project.

Each ruler comes in a handy MDF storage/presentation block.

    Good product; packaging not so much
    Product measures and mostly doesn't slip. Who at JessEm thinks that storing a ruler in a 3/4 in. block of MDF is a good idea? Many of us don't have room to keep a 4' x 12' wood block. This packaging adds to the price and adds to the shipping costs of an already overpriced product.

    Accurate, a pleasure to use
    This ruler was exactly what I'd hoped for. I had purchased the Jessem 12" square and was impressed by the “grippiness" of the blade. The 12" and 18" rules work the same way. Improves the layout and marking process.

    What a great idea
    I bought it (6-inch) thinking, "this is expensive for a ruler.". But I was tired of straight edges that were always slipping, Well, problem solved. It stays in place with light pressure yet moves easily when my fingers are not on the pads. A great idea well executed..

    Holds tight
    I bought this ruler after mismarking a piece twice because my straight edge kept slipping. I had seen this on YouTube. It looked like a good idea and I trust the Jessem name. It really works well. With just a slight downward pressure on the "gritty" pads the ruler does not move. It's now my go-to ruler. I imagine I will expand my collection of Jessem Flex Grip tools.

    I've been a woodworker for decades so you know I have a lot of rulers, but none are as cool as these.
