Allowing for precise depth control, these rotating depth stops are designed for use with Famag Forstner bits. Supported by a ball bearing, the stop rotates freely until reaching the desired drilling depth. Once the stop contacts the work surface, it stops spinning, preventing marring and indicating that the desired depth has been reached.

The guide bushings are mounted within the depth stop base using the included locking ring. Bits are secured in place with the bushing’s set screw. For proper fit, the bushing’s inner diameter must match the bit’s shaft diameter. The shank size is not relevant for fitting.

The base has a height of 44mm, which deducts from the total available drilling depth. For increased depth, the bushing and bit can be inverted within the base.

Each depth stop includes an ABS base with a supporting ball bearing, the selected bearing size, an allen wrench, and a locking ring.

Sizes:

1621.108 - for bits with a cutting diameter from 10-21 mm (3/8" - 3/4"), and a shaft diameter of 8mm
1621.110 - for bits with a cutting diameter from 22-27 mm (7/8" - 1"), and a shaft diameter of 10mm
1621.112 - for bits with a cutting diameter from 28-35 mm (1-1/8" - 1-3/8"), and a shaft diameter of 12mm
1621.114 - for bits with a cutting diameter from 36-40 mm (1-1/2" - 1-5/8"), and a shaft diameter of 14mm
1621.116 - for bits with a cutting diameter from 42-50 mm (1-1/8" - 2"), and a shaft diameter of 16mm
