Hamlet by Henry Taylor M2 HSS Combination Left & Right Captive Ring Tool (1/4" - 1/2")
These Henry Taylor combination left & right captive ring tools are used to make rings that are loose, yet remain captured by the workpiece. Captive Rings are often added for decoration on goblets or weed pots and other spindle work. This design has a bevel on both sides to allow you to shape the rings and separate them from the workpiece using only one tool. You can use the Bead Forming Tools to shape the top of the ring.
The blades are made from the extremely stable M2 high-speed steel, known for its exceptional edge-holding ability. The ergonomic handles, made from dark-stained European beech, are paired with solid brass ferrules.
