These chisels, manufactured by Narex in the Czech Republic, are renowned for their exceptional quality and value. They have been forged in the same manner for the past 100 years. The blades are made from fine-grained, tempered chrome-manganese steel, hardened to 59 HRc, ensuring they take and hold an excellent edge. The bevels are ground at a 25-degree angle. The lacquered European Beech handles feature well-seated steel tangs and two steel ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. Their oval shape provides comfort and prevents rolling off the bench.
