
Cabinetmaker's Heavy-Duty Woodworking Front Vise
This cabinetmaker's vise is the perfect addition to any new or existing workbench and can be used to secure parts for a wide range of woodworking tasks, including planing, routing, sanding, drilling, sawing, assembly, and more.
This heavy-duty vise features a 7” x 3” x 1-3/4” cast iron base plate, a 7” x 1-3/4” moveable jaw, precision-machined steel guide rods (0.550” diameter) and an Acme main lead screw (0.860” diameter) for rigid and seccure clamping and long-term durability. The maximum opening is 8-1/2” (less the thickness of your wooden jaw). The vise is easy to install on a wide variety of new or existing workbenches via the four 5/16” holes in the base. A custom front jaw can be made to whatever length you desire with the height being level with the top of your bench. Comes with a 12-1/2” long x 1” diameter beech wood handle.
This vise is straightforward to install and requires an unobstructed 11” x 7-1/2” mounting area on the underside of the worktop. Click HERE, for easy to follow installation instructions.
Mounting hardware required: 4 ea 5/16" lag bolts to secure to the underside of the workbench and 2 ea 1/4" lag bolts to secure your custom wood jaw to the moveable front jaw.
